The Carroll Independent School District’s fourth annual Southlake Dragon Homecoming Carnival will take place next Wednesday, September 21st. The carnival will be held in the parking lot on the home side of Dragon Stadium beginning at 5PM with a community pep rally inside the stadium to follow.
The carnival will be hosted by the Carroll Student Council, and organizers are expecting the festivities to be bigger than ever. Food, games, and crafts will welcome guests, and the atmosphere of the event asks guests to reflect on what it means to be a Carroll Dragon. There is no cost to attend the carnival, but patrons are asked to bring money for the many vendors that will be set up at the event.
A Homecoming Pep Rally is scheduled for 8PM inside Dragon Stadium following the carnival. The Southlake Carroll Dragon football team, band, and cheerleaders will be in attendance, and the Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at the gathering.
The Dragons will host the Fossil Ridge Panthers for the homecoming game on Friday, September 23rd with a 7:30PM kick-off. You can go ahead and purchase advance tickets on the Carroll ISD Athletics website – home side seats sold out last year!
