Carroll Senior High School Yearbook Recognized by American Scholastic Press Association

Southlake Carroll DragonsThe Carroll Dragon yearbook at Carroll Senior High School was recently recognized on a national scale by the American Scholastic Press Association, and we could not be happier or more proud of the amazing staff! The first place with special merit recognition is the highest level of achievement for a yearbook staff in the country.

Based on student enrollment, Carroll Independent School District was accompanied by only four other schools in the nation for its high level of recognition. The Carroll Dragon yearbook design team earned a framed award certificate to honor its special achievement.

The American Scholastic Press Association examined the “page design, story layout, graphics, headlining, cover design, advertising placement, photography and a variety of other useful items” in order to judge yearbook designs across the country. Each publication is awarded first, second, or third place honors in its classification, with only the absolute best receiving first place with honors.

The Carroll Dragon received that top honor, and Roxann Taylor & Associates, Realtors would like to recognize the yearbook staff and everyone else who made this possible. CISD continues to amaze us – congratulations to all of  the Carroll Senior High School yearbook winners!
