You heard it here first (well, hopefully.) There are two great auctions coming soon that are charitable and certainly for great causes.
The first called RES is Off to the Races, which is a Rockenbaugh spring fundraiser held on Apr. 28 at RES from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. We promise it’ll be fun for the entire family, with the track dedication, spring carnival and of course, a silent auction. Make sure to check out the bounce houses, rock climbing wall and relay races. Plus you can have a chance to decorate the track. This day will be the last chance for online bidders to win the Be Teacher for the Day, Have a Sleepover with Mrs. White and other other exciting events with your favorite teachers. So what’s the second event?
Carroll Elementary will have an online auction from Apr. 20 to Apr. 29th, offering over $80,000 worth of in-kind items to bid on, including Vaquero Golf for Two with Roxann. Also Zumba people will perform live. Come learn salsa and cowboy style dances. Just contact Conay Huizar at conay35@gmail.com for auction info and with any questions.
Discounted child care will be provided by the Adventure Kids Play Care Center in Southlake. 40 percent off of regular rates.
